Sioux Chief has been manufacturing innovative solutions for rough plumbing products since 1957. Sioux Chief is proud to be an American Manufacturer, and to support the American worker.
There are over 7,000 products in the Sioux Chief line, the vast majority of them made in Kansas City, Missouri.
With so many items in the Sioux Chief line getting right to the product you need can be overwhelming. To make this a little less daunting, we have created a Digital Table of Contents for the Sioux Chief catalog. Found starting on page 3, there are links that will take you straight to any of the highlighted products. There is also a New Product section, and information on all of our commercial products.
We hope you will add a copy of the Sioux Chief Digital Catalog to your desktop, and use it whenever you are looking for quality products, innovation, and labor saving solutions.

Schier is credited with inventing very high efficiency lifetime grease interceptors that are specifically engineered for outdoor use. Schier has worked closely with the Florida wastewater community to encourage enforcement to minimum 90% grease removal efficiency and
third-party certified grease storage capacities, as well as encouraging municipalities to promote accountable maintenance and best kitchen practices to help reduce F.O.G related sanitary sewer overflows.
Schier’s products offer a significant advantage over old-fashioned concrete tanks. They are Lifetime Guaranteed, and they will never break down or rot out and leak into the surrounding ground like a concrete tank.
Stricter Standards for all grease interceptors were introduced into the Florida Building code in 2009. Since then, there are tens of thousands of Schier Great Basin grease interceptors installed throughout Florida.
They are recognized and approved by over 95% of Florida municipalities.
In March of 2020 Schier introduced the new GB-250. This is an update to our most popular outdoor grease interceptor.
The new GB-250 features certified flow ratings up to 200 gallons per minute. At 75 gallons per minute the new GB-250 is 99% efficient, and stores 1,817 pounds of grease.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
100 GPM (6.3 L/s) / 1,895 lbs. (860 kg)
200 GPM (12.6 L/s) / 1,196 lbs. (543 kg)
How does the GB-250 compare to a concrete grease interceptor?
Any grease interceptor that is not third-party certified is governed by the 25% Rule*. Meaning that 25% of it’s liquid capacity is devoted to storing grease/solids (the remaining volume is the working space that allows the grease to separate).

1,000 Gallon / 913 lbs. (415 kg)
In 2018 Schier introduced the GB-1000.
At 1,000 liquid gallons, the GB-1000 provides 6,237 pounds of certified grease storage capacity, and 99% grease removal efficiency.
